CDTI’s NEOTEC: turning technology into a product
CDTI's NEOTEC initiative supports the creation and consolidation of new technology-based companies in Spain. Within that programme, our work was aimed at one thing: turning a technology into a product that can be sold.

That touches every area of a company at once: technical development, commercial activity, structure and funding needs.
On the market side, it made it possible to attend the ADDIT3D 2019 fair and to take part in acceleration projects that made the product known. The outcome was getting companies and training centres to test the machines: three units installed at strategic beta customers.
On the technical side, it funded the work needed to have sellable machines, plus further development aimed at keeping the product distinct. It also funded a full-time hire dedicated to R&D, and the purchase of scientific and laboratory equipment to analyse and tune the laser system and its optical path.
It is the kind of work nobody sees at a trade fair, and without which there is no trade fair to go to.
