This policy explains what we do with the personal data we receive through this website. It is written to be easy to understand, not to cover our tracks: if anything is unclear, please contact us and we will clarify.

What data do we collect and where do we get it from
Only the ones you give us. This site does not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising, or profiling. We do not buy lists or obtain data from third parties.

The technical files you send us—geometries, plans, specifications—may be confidential information belonging to your company. We treat them as such: they are used solely to respond to your request, are not shared with third parties without your authorization, and are stored only for as long as strictly necessary.
What do we use them for and on what legal basis?

We do not make automated decisions with legal effects concerning you. The quote tool calculates a cost estimate based on the data you enter; it does not make any decisions about you or classify you.
How long do we keep them
While the relationship lasts and afterwards, during the limitation periods established by law: six years for commercial and accounting documentation (Commercial Code) and four years for tax obligations (General Tax Law).
Inquiries that lead nowhere are deleted when they cease to be useful, and at most one year after the last communication.
The technical files you send us are kept while the offer is active and are deleted afterwards, unless we have signed an agreement stating otherwise.
To whom do we communicate them?
We do not sell or share personal data.
They are accessed only by the suppliers we need in order to operate, with a signed data processor agreement: the web hosting provider (Hostalia), the corporate email provider (Hostalia) and the accounting and tax advisers. Also the public authorities when a rule requires it.
International transfers: none are made. Web hosting and corporate email are contracted with a Spanish provider, with servers in Spain, so the data does not leave the European Economic Area.
How do we protect them?
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures for the size and activity of the company: limited access to those who need it, passwords and two-factor authentication on corporate services, backups and encrypted connection throughout the website.
No system is infallible. If a security breach were to occur that poses a risk to your rights, we would inform you and notify the supervisory authority within the timeframes set by the GDPR.
What rights do you have
You can exercise at any time the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, limitation of processing and portability, and withdraw the consent you have given, without this affecting the lawfulness of the previous processing.
To exercise these rights, please write to info@samylabs.com indicating which right you wish to exercise. We may ask you to verify your identity. We will respond within one month.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with the Basque Data Protection Agency where applicable.
Minors
This site is intended for professionals and businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of fourteen.
The web tour that accompanies your message
When you fill out a form, along with what you write, we receive the path you took through this website during that same visit: where you entered, which pages you looked at and for how long, whether you used the cost calculator and with what values, and whether you entered from a computer or a mobile phone.
Why: to answer you with knowledge of the facts instead of starting from scratch.
How it is collected, which is what usually causes concern:
- We don't use cookies or third-party tools. Your browsing history is saved in your browser, in the tab's memory, and is deleted when you close the tab.
- It doesn't leave your browser unless you submit the form. If you leave without writing to us, we don't receive anything and there's no trace of you.
- We don't track you between visits. Each visit starts from scratch, and there's no way to link one to another.
- Once submitted, your browsing history is saved along with your message and is kept for the same amount of time as your message.
You can ask us to delete it, like any other data of yours, by writing to the address shown above.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we process data, we will update this page and change the date below. Relevant changes will be announced on the site itself.
