Bind 4.0: among the 50 startups chosen out of 385
In November 2017 the industrial partner companies of Bind 4.0 chose which startups they wanted to work with. From 385 applications worldwide, 50 were selected, and SamyLabs was one of them.

Next came the Basque Industry 4.0 event in San Sebastián, where the selected companies presented their project and negotiated a supply contract with the programme's partners. Only those who closed an agreement carried on into the following edition.
Bind 4.0 is a twenty-four-week public-private acceleration programme aimed at early-stage industry 4.0 startups: big data, additive manufacturing, machine vision, cloud computing, augmented reality, cybersecurity, cyber-physical systems and collaborative robotics. Companies from anywhere in the world can apply, with a commitment to grow their business within the Basque ecosystem.
For a company that a year earlier had a prototype on a workbench, it was the first time anyone from outside looked at the technology with an industrial eye.
