Prices are indicative and per kilo, for orders of one 25 kg container. They vary with the batch, with the quantity and with the metal market — titanium and nickel move far more than steel. The firm price always goes in the quotation.

The powder is sold in sealed packaging, not in bulk: opening and transferring is the moment when a batch becomes contaminated and traceability is lost.

Test quantity to qualify the alloy in your machine before ordering a 25 kg container. It comes with its certificate, just like a normal order. The cost will be deducted from your first order if you proceed.

Permitted alloy mixture
It is replaced. The certificate is not just an accompanying document: it is what is being purchased, and if the values do not match what was declared, the lot is returned.
If you're in the middle of a series, we keep material from the same batch for six months so you don't have to re-evaluate halfway through.
When a batch is no longer suitable for your part, it's not trash. We collect it and it enters the recycling system instead of ending up in a landfill.
No commitment, no annual minimum, and no clause that forces you to buy powder from us just for owning one of our machines.
The chemical composition of the batch, with the test results on the back. This is the document they'll ask for when someone audits your part, and if you don't have the original, it can't be reconstructed.
The measured particle size distribution, not the nominal one in the catalog, is what determines how the layer spreads and, consequently, the density of the part.
Traceability starts at the can. Without a batch number, there's no way to qualify anything afterward, or to know which parts were affected by a problem.
Mandatory and truly necessary: many metal powders are combustible and some are reactive. How to handle them is explained in what ATEX means.
Qualified parameters for that alloy, ready to load into SamyStudio. It's the difference between printing on day one and spending three weeks configuring the parameters.
Today, the order is finalized via email, and payment is made by bank transfer or invoice. A store with an online shopping cart and payment system is the next step, and a decision on that is pending.

Subsequent orders for the same alloy are drawn from the same reserved batch, while supplies last. A repeat order does not start from scratch.
It's worth mentioning here, on the page where we're selling it to you: an ALBA machine works with the powder you choose. It doesn't have a label the machine has to recognize, there's no container that expires via software, and there are no locked parameters preventing you from using another supplier.
That's a product decision, not a concession. The parameterization is open precisely so you can qualify your own powder—whether it's from another supplier, reused powder, or one you want to develop yourself.
