ADDIT3D 2018: from prototype to a sellable machine
A year after the first prototype we went back to ADDIT3D, in May 2018, with something different: a commercial prototype. A 500 W laser and a build area of 250 × 250 × 280 mm, against the 250 W and 120 mm sides of the year before.

The leap was not only in laser power. This machine was developed together with ONA Electroerosión, who took on the mechanical design. It is the start of a relationship that continues: ONA is today our industrial partner and official distributor in several markets.
That a company with sixty-five years of machine tool manufacturing behind it took on the mechanical design changed the nature of the project: it stopped being a lab development and started to look like an industrial product.

The machine that came out of this line of work arrived the following year: the ALBA 300 at ADDIT3D 2019. The current ones, in machines.
