What to tell us so that the first response is helpful.
With these six parts of information, we can tell you in the first email whether the LPBF makes sense for your case, even if the answer is no.
Approximate measurements
The most important factors are height and solid volume, not width. If it fits within 250 × 250 × 300 mm, then we can continue the discussion.
Material
Stainless steel, Inconel, titanium, cobalt chromium, aluminium, tool steel. If you haven't decided yet, that works too.
How many units per year
The LPBF performs well in the one to ten thousand unit range. Above that, traditional manufacturing almost always wins.
Lead time
If you have a date, let us know. It makes a big difference to the conversation whether this is for next quarter or two years from now.
CAD file, if you have it
STL, 3MF, DXF, or whatever format you use. Let us know in the message and we'll give you a secure way to send it to us.

Do you want to distribute our machines?
We work with distributors in several countries and are expanding into new markets. Tell us about your coverage area, the sectors you work in, and your technical service capabilities. Selling LPBF requires demonstrations and specialized support, so we're looking for technical partners, not just sales partners.
You want metal powder
We supply powders developed for LPBF under the SamyPowder brand, in the following families: stainless steel, tool steel, nickel-chromium, aluminium, titanium, and cobalt-chromium. Please tell us the material and quantity.
Are you a journalist or a student?
